i. Jesus speaks of the cost of discipleship
1. 18When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake. 19Then a teacher of the law came to him and said, "Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go." 20Jesus replied, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head."

When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. (REMEMBER WHAT HE WILL DO)
iii. Psalm 37:7 (NASB)- 7[a]Rest in the LORD and (A)wait [b]patiently for Him; (B)Do not fret because of him who (C)prospers in his way, Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes. (Don’t be discouraged)
